Initial information
Connection specifications, heat supplier requirements, heating loads, the heat supply arrangement and room layouts. For refurbishment, the existing design, instrument details and observations on the current system are also useful.
Coordination with thermal and automation designs
Metering is considered together with the substation thermal arrangement, controls and building services. Instrument schedules are checked against diagrams and operational requirements.
Documentation, schedule and fee
The client receives an agreed documentation package. Design boundaries and participation in approvals are defined after reviewing the building. Installation, instrument verification and commissioning are not automatically included in the design service.
